Last year I planted giant pumpkins. We called them the alien plant because each night the the main stalk would grow 14 to 20 centimeters. While I didn't get anywhere near the record pumpkin pictured (1,053 kilos), I did get one 100 kilos which was fun.

Carrot harvested yesterday from the Vegepod....
My grandson (9yo) was in fits of laughter when he saw this carrot. It's defitely a boy

Now checking the patch the other evening I found a young boy tomato.
It's amazing how these freaks of nature occur.
You would never find them in a supermarket veg dep't. 😆
