The lid of this sandpit folds out into handy bench seats when in use and keeps pets out when shut.
The project
The original plan was to make a solid cover for this sandpit to keep the pets out, but then I thought why not add a fold-out seat for the kiddies?
I used 200mm x 50mm treated Pine sleepers for the box and 150mm x 25mm treated Pine planks for the lid. All materials from the one stop shop Bunnings.
