Kaboodle kickboard solution wanted

Doing a laundry renovation and have some end cupboards that we didn't want to purchase end panels for so are looking at solutions as how to add kickboard to those sides. They won't be really be seen as very close to sliding doors but want that area covered anyway. Do flatpax kickboard clips fit on kaboodle legs?

Thank you for sharing your laundry renovation project. One way to cover the gap is to move the location of the Kaboodle plastic feet on the left by 20mm to the right when facing the cabinet. This will allow you to place a kickboard on the side of the cabinet. Please have a look at the diagram below. It sounds like a fantastic project in the making. I'm sure our members would be keen to see it once it's finished.

That is great to know but unforutnetly we have already attached to wall attached all plumbing, Tiled and Siliconed all around So no going back to move feet now 😩

Don't you worry, there is one more way out of this situation. You can either order a custom-sized multi-purpose panel or you can purchase a base-end panel and cut it down yourself. I've placed the process below for you to get an idea of how to cover the end of your cabinet.

Measure the exposed area of the cabinet both in height and width. Add the thickness of the door to that measurement so that it is included in the cover.
Once the panel is cut, attach the panel to the exposed side of the cabinet and screw it from the inside of the cabinet.

Thank you for your reply. We are Trying desperately to not spend anymore money and was trying to avoid purchasing the end panels as they are quite expensive. Also our bench top was only measured and cut to finish flush with the cabinetry on the glass door side (probs should have done it like you've pictured.) We resorted this afternoon to buying the flatpacks kick board clips and cutting out a few hollows where the legs sit so it will sit flush against cabinetry but those clips are not very sturdy, will have to silicone all the joins to hold everything in place. If I did this again I would buy all the end panels even though that would add about $800 to the job but would have saved a head ache. Can't wait to share when it's all done.

Here is one more suggestion, use CustomWood MDF 3mm 900 x 600mm White Melamine Backing. You will just need to cut it to size and paint the edge white. I recommend using Selleys Ezi Press 130g Liquid Nails to glue it onto the side of the cabinet. The panel will at least cover the open side of the cabinet.
