How to childproof kitchen entry?
Trying to install gates to secure our kitchen area. We have a wall on the left on this phone, and a cabinet on the right. They're not aligned unfortunately so I'm after ideas of how gates would be installed to childproof this area. Any advice would be appreciated.

How to cover rails on a fence?
We have this timber fence outside a pool fence. Due to compliance, these rails will be considered climbable. I could attach some palings to the rails, but I wonder if there's a better way to "hide" away the exposed rails.

How to prevent algae on brickwork?
I have these little plants growing out of mortars of a few outdoor bricks. I fear it is going to cause cracks in the brick wall or even the foundation. How serious is this problem and can I stop it?
