Japanese toilet
I recently went to Japan for the first time and absolutely loved their toilets with the built-in seat warmers, bidet, air dryers, etc. We should have them here! Does anyone import and sell Japanese-style toilets or anything similiar here? I can’t imagine it would be too hard to install one, except you’d need an electrician…

Gutter guards
Another question. I recently cleaned out the gutters which were chock full of leaves and muck. Not a fun job! Just wondering how easy those leaf catcher/gutter guards are to install yourself. And do they actually make your gutters less efficient? – that is, smaller and more prone to overflowing etc during heavy rain?…

Can you patch render?
I was looking at the render on the side of the house over the weekend and thinking that it might be time to do something about it. Painting a laminate floor
Anyone got an experience painting an old laminate floor? Google suggests it can be done but not sure on how it will look in the medium-long term...It's only a laundry and already very scratched and worn so I'm tempted to just give it a go.

Replacing concrete with gravel
We're going to rip out some old cracked concrete along the side of our house. We don't want to have it all as garden as it needs to be a thoroughfare and I'd be worried it would be too muddy.
