How to clean white marks of dark grout?

Hello, We have dark charcoal grout on the floor tiles and it has white in some areas which l think is efflorescence. Is there a product that can remove this? I saw a product called Davco tile and grout that l was thinking to purchase and use with a grout brush. Thanks

Hi @Carolyn3636,

You could certainly try the Davco 1L Tile And Grout Cleaner, and hopefully, that will remove some of it. However, I recommend using Dunlop 250ml Grout Paint - Slate Grey. It's a marvellous product that I use on my own white grout. I redo it maybe every two years and it makes the grout look like new. Here's a helpful guide: How to clean grout and get it white again.

Thankyou. The grout colour is called anthracite l think. Yes, l could give the paint a go. I think l will try to clean it first. Thankyou.
