Hi,
We have a dripping shower head (light drip but constant). We have already purchased and installed new shower head (from Bunnings of course), however the leak is still there.
Can you please help determine what the cause could be and whether we could fix it ourselves rather than getting a plumber in?
Thanks
Possibly you need new washers in the taps @Melly06 ? Especially since it's coming from the shower head.
When you took the head off to replace, was it still dripping from the wall pipework, despite the taps being fully off?
Hello @Melly06
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower head.
It's great that you've received excellent advice from @Noyade. I recommend having a look at this guide - How to replace a tap washer. This would be the way to repair them on the condition that you have separate hot and cold taps. If you have a single shower mixer, the ceramic mixer cartridge will need to be replaced. Replacing a cartridge is a bit more complex and if you've not done it before, I suggest engaging the services of a plumber or handy person to change the cartridge for you.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
