Wondering is it difficult to remove a trough in the laundry, do we just turn off main water thanks
Hi @magdalini,
I would encourage you to share some photos so members can see what you are working with. We would then be in a much better position to share advice.
Thanks,
Jason
Hello @magdalini
I agree with Jason, would it be possible for you to post a few photos of your laundry trough so that we can assess its installation. We can then make recommendations on how you can move forward.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hello @magdalini
It's probable that your laundry trough is held in place with screws which are attached to the wall. You'll need to remove them in order to move the cabinet off the wall. The plumbing outlets for the hot and cold will need to be plugged up with brass caps. The plug and waste along with the trap under the laundry tub will need to be disassembled. Any connection from your washing machine and dryer will need to removed as well. Yes, you will need to turn off your mains water supply before you start to dismantle the laundry trough.
What kind of new arrangement did you have in mind for your laundry? If you can draw a basic sketch or give us a description of what kind of cabinets you would like to install in that area, we'll be more than happy to provide a quick render for you to look at.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Hi @magdalini,
I just thought I'd pop in to ask how you are going with your laundry renovation. I note you started this discussion, How to renovate my small laundry, some time ago and would be keen to hear whether you need further assistance.
We are here to help, so feel free to reach out with anything you need. Let us know if you'd like to go with a different layout.
