A large outdoor bench seat with storage underneath and a box that can be used as a planter or to store cold drinks.
The project
I used all recycled materials to build this large outdoor bench seat measuring at 2.3m long, 750mm high and 800mm wide. The seat has storage underneath and a side planter box that can also be used to store an esky.
The timber I’m using is HT which stands for heat treated. It hasn’t got as many chemicals compared to treated Pine, but is designed to be able to last in all sorts of weather. Look after the timber by using outdoor oil to protect its look and colour, and keep it off the ground.
