Recycled pallet kids market stall

This budget-friendly kids market stall will encourage hours of imaginative play.

The project

I made a kids market stall using recycled timber and then added a few bits and pieces along the way.

I added slats from a recycled pallet at the front and put an old shelf I had laying around against the wall. I cut the shelf to size so it would fit perfectly.

While I did love the timber look, I wanted to brighten it up so I painted it white using Zinsser Smart Prime Undercoat and Rust-Oleum Milk Paint Finish.

We swapped out the old kitchen for a different one – picked up a bargain on Facebook Marketplace and sold the other one.

This area gets so much use. The kids use it on the daily for everything from market stall play to pretend doctors.

Hi, This is first time to post a question and I am not sure whether it is right place to ask any help. I want to build a shop stall for kids for outdoor.

what is ecnomic ply wood options for outdoor. how to choose right ply wood and timber?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Farsiaahsan. It's sensational to have you join us and many thanks for your question about creating a shop stall for children.

If the plywood is going out in the weather, then you'd need to select a suitable type for exterior use. Alternatively, you could use a more economic standard plywood and coat it well with exterior paint. Due to it not being suitable for exterior use it will have a limited lifespan. All other timber used should be H3 treated and preferably in a child-friendly solution such as what's used in our LOSP primed range.
