I thought this clamp looked rather clever. Spring loaded with sharp points to grip and hold small mitre joints.
Anything like this at Bunnings?
It's an interesting type of clamp, I'm just worried that it would leave bite marks on the timber. The closest product the store has is the Trojan 75mm Mitre & Corner Clamp. It's totally different, but it does the same job. I've used this tool in all my assemblies and is easy to use.
However, this tool would be perfect for small picture frames and assemblies that don't have the room for large corner clamps.
From a British DIY book. I guess there would be small marks afterwards, but easily filled/sanded?
Looks like a collins miter spring clamp, I think fulton make them too. Pretty sure you can still get them on Amazon?
