I mistakely stepped on the roof and its is broken (plastic roof). Is there any similar items I can find in Bunnings and replace it? Thank You.
Hi @anishkc,
It looks like that piece just sits on top of the frame, with the joiner strip screwed down to hold it in place, so I imagine you could just lift that joiner strip, remove the damaged piece and replace it with something of roughly the same thickness.
How thick is the plastic, and what are the overall dimensions of the damaged panel?
You'd need to use something that can withstand the elements, so I'm thinking a fibre cement sheet would be the way to go. They can be cut to size using a Score and Snap Knife, then put in place as described above.
When you let me know the dimensions and thickness of the panel, I could point you towards something more specific.
Let me know what you think.

Hi @anishkc,
Is that the morning after the pool party 🙄 - just kidding.
Looks like the sheets are in a frame secured with pop rivets.
Blue arrow - is that a pop rivet?
If that's the case hopefully you can drill out the pops and remove the side frame.
Replace damaged sheet and then the side frame with new pops.
Cheers
Hi @AlanM52
Yes, it is pop rivet. I wish I had time for the pool party. It happened while working in one of my clients place. I will try to remove it tomorrow when it is dry and update.
Thanks
Hi @JacobZ,
I will give it a go tomorrow, the roof is thin plastic material. I will post the picture if I could undo the roof frame.
Thanks
Hi @anishkc
You will need to remove all the top edge frame by removing any screws and/or drilling out any rivets. Use an 8mm drill bit to remove the other ring, then a 2.5mm to drill the rivet pin out. The cover strip in the middle then needs to be removed.
Now follow @JacobZ instruction with replacing the cement sheet.

You're a better man me Wayne.
My motto is...
"Bore though with 3.2 (mm)"
Then remove the little hats from the drill bit later.
