I've the ozzie pruning extension pole saw. I've had it for over 3 years. I wanted to pruning some dead fonds of our palms, but the saw wasn't cutting. Since purchasing I've used it heaps to pruning trees palms bushes etc. So I'm thinking the chain is blunt.
Since I've never sharpened a chain, wondering if there's a how to or even better a workshop activity on how to sharpen a chain.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @pzzie. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sharpening a chain.
There are a couple of instructional videos you can follow. The first, by Ozito, features the Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Chainsaw Chain Sharpener, but there is also a powered version, Ozito 85W Chainsaw Sharpener. You can view the video here. The second video, which I've included below, is from Ryobi and shows how to manually sharpen a chain with a chainsaw file.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I highly recommend an electric abrasive disc sharpener @pzzie - as above.
Just a little bit fiddly to initially set up - but the end results will be far superior to hand filing.
Cheers.
