Hello, this is a welding table that I upcycled using scraps in the shed.i used Rio bar, angle iron, tube steel, metal castor wheels, chipboard, tin and a drawer slide
Very nice - and practical.
Not on the same level but I bought this last year from Bunnings - I think it was around $80. Not sure if they still sell them?
I've found it to be brilliant with small fiddly pieces, particularly if they need to be at near perfect right angles and there's plenty of holes for clamps ...
Great to see you make your first post @Meling. Many thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more of your projects and plans.
Love the green basket. I've got one just the same. Somehow it made its way back to the car after shopping.😲
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @BloodyMarty. It's great to have you join us and many thanks for jumping into the discussion.
We look forward to hearing about the projects around your house and garden, and we'd encourage you to let us know if you ever need any help or would like to share them with us. I trust you'll find loads of inspiration within the community as our amazing members are contributing their projects here all the time.
Noting the vices in your inventory Marty, which are invaluable with welding up projects - I decided to mount one so that it can be moved around, especially to remote areas of the backyard when using a gas torch.
The legs belonged to an outdoor table and are surprisingly stable, even when bending metal.
Afterwards I use a magnetic "vacuum" broom (Bunnings) to remove any metal product from the ground.
