Hi Guys, i am planning to do partition wall by myself but have no idea how to do this. I have attached the picture. i am hoping if someone can guide me.
Hello @Ngupta1822
Thanks for sharing your question about building a partition room divider.
We've had a few queries regarding this question. I suggest having a look at these discussions:
The general steps are to choose the size of the timber you wish to use and build a frame which you can install the timber pieces to. The frame is then stood up and anchored to the floor and ceiling using screws.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thank you @EricL for getting back to me. Really appreciate all the links that you have shared. Just wanted to check can I use 90 x 42mm 3.6m F7 H3 Treated Pine Primed instead of porta 65*12mm DAR?
Hi @Ngupta1822
Yes, you can use the 90 x 42mm 3.6m F7 H3 Treated Pine Primed LOSP as an alternative to the 65x12 DAR. My best advice is to make sure to paint the timber once you've assembled your partition wall to properly seal it.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thank you Eric. i have floor boards so how will i attach this to the floorboards?
Hello @Ngupta1822
Depending on the thickness of the board you'll be using for the fitting, I propose looking at Zenith 10G x 65mm Gold Passivated Countersunk Rib Head Chipboard Screws - 50 Pack. Please make sure to use the proper length and always drill pilot holes to prevent splitting the timber.
