this might not be the best photo but I’m hoping to find where I could get a couple of these vertical bed poles/legs that are for supporting under the middle of the frame. Clearly mine broke despite the bed never having more than half of the supposed weight capacity on it
Hi @justamilla,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
I'd need to know two things.
How long is the leg? And is the bed frame metal?
You could just use a furniture leg with an attachment plate of the same length as the broken one, and then screw it to the frame.
Something along the lines of this Adoored 25 x 25 x 100mm Black Square Tube Furniture Leg should work. You would just need to use some metal screws to screw it to the frame.
Let me know what you think and if you need further guidance, please don't hesitate to ask.

I know this isn’t the best photo, I’m not with the frame now. The top part of the broken one attaches here (it’s still screwed on in the photo but I can remove it). So it would need to be something that can screw onto here
Evening @justamilla
"Clearly mine broke despite the bed never having more than half of the supposed weight capacity on it."
To my eyes it's not the weight that's the issue - it's the fact the manufacturer only spot welded two areas - not the entire circumference.
So the leg could then rock on the opposite sides = metal fatigue = fracture.
My thought is to re-weld your leg all the way round, or better still, re-weld a more substantial steel leg in place.
Maybe a Men's/Women's shed could help?
I'm also happy to receive the bracket in the mail - weld a leg onto it - send it back to you. No cost.
Just a pre-wine thought.
Cheers.
Hello @justamilla
As a possible alternative, I suggest cutting a piece of timber (same length as the pole) and using it as the leg. Connect the timber piece using the original bracket and using the access hole in the middle of the bracket as a screw point for the timber leg.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
