How to fix a loose shelf in the walk-in wardrobe?

Hey Gents,

I have one loose shelf in my walk-in wardrobe as in pics. I have no idea where I can screw in to give more support and force the shelf back to the correct position. What's the best option to fix this?

It looks to be that locking pin and round nut system in your "top-side" photo?

Has the pin failed I wonder?

Thank you for the hint. But I am unsure where the locking pin and round nut system is.

If the locking pin is under the black hole cover, I think it is a screw for locking in the front panel of the shelf. If I am wrong, please correct me. Thank you.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @JamesLiu. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing a shelf.

If you are unable to locate a locking mechanism that fixes the shelves together, and the shelf next to the sagging one is secured appropriately, then perhaps you could re-align the shelf and screw through the side of it into the other. You need to use screws that are slightly shorter than the thickness of the two side panels.

This is what I thought was happening - pin has fatigued under the weight. Probably wrong - I tend to be.

Thank you all for the help. I ended up using three 25mm steel angle brackets to fix it.
