Christmas decking tree

Noyade
Kind of a Big Deal

Christmas decking tree

Cheap and nasty - but I think it'll work.

Large piece of wood cut to a pentagon.

Five decking timber legs (3 metre lengths) connected with hinges (for easy packing away post-Christmas).

Lotsa nails hammered into the legs as hooks.

Christmas lights applied.

Drink wine - and wait for the sun to go down..

 - and post a nighttime photo - later.

You also doing lights on the house?

"You also doing lights on the house?"

Hi Jason.

No, just the "tree" this year - I'm keeping away from ladders. :smile:

@Noyade,

That's a really effective way to create a prominent feature. I'm now considering something similar in my own front yard.

Many thanks for sharing.
