We just had 2 colorbond sheds put up. One sitting on concrete ground and the other on pavers. Both are on a mild slope. They are not water sealed. Just wondering, before storing things, shall I put down some sort of mat just to keep things off the ground away from water, moisture and dust? I’m thinking the mat itself needs to be waterproof, affordable, anti slippery and easy to clean, probably a solid piece rather than with holes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Hello @mkdcbxyw
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your shed flooring.
I propose putting a sheet of builder's plastic over the entire floor to serve as a moisture barrier and using either the Ultimate Flooring 1 x 1m x 10mm Black Home Gym Tile or the Matpro 1m Black Garage Floor Matting. These products are rubber based and should be able to withstand any moisture that it comes into contact with. Plus, it should keep anything you place on top of it dry. However, if it is something you wish to protect, I suggest using All Set 100L Grey And Green Heavy Duty Storage Container With Flat Lid especially if you are looking at long term storage.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
