How can I insulate windows in winter?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about insulating your windows.
I suggest having a look at this discussion - What static window film for winter? by @learningDIYer. One of the suggestions made was to use double sided tape on your window frame and attaching builder's clear plastic to create a double-glazed window effect that traps air in the middle creating an insulating effect. I also recommend reading this discussion - How to cover a window for winters in an apartment by @gautam86. The general suggestion was to use thermal curtains or if you have an inset window to use Bastion 1200 x 600 x 30mm XPS Multi Use Foam Board.
