Hi,
My metal roof overhang is too short and leading to water dripping behind the gutters.
What's the easiest way for me to fix this?
Hello @doneen
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your metal roof.
I propose installing a Lysaght custom flashing piece 50x50 at a 45degree angle. This piece will need to be specially ordered at the special orders desk. The flashing will need to be inserted right under the edge of your metal roof which will then act as an extension and guide for rainwater to fall into the gutter. It also prevents water from flowing in-between the roof and the gutter. The flashing can be fixed in place by using blind rivets and the joining edge can be sealed off using Selleys 290ml Clear Storm Waterproof Gutter And Roof Sealant.
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their recommendations.

Good Afternoon @doneen
I was wondering how much space is between your rear of the gutter and the facia? It looks like it may be leaning forward a little? If it is then the easiest way to fix would be to have it flush up against the facia.
Otherwise @EricL's solution would work, you may need to bend some of the sheeting up at the ends to slide the angled piece in but any fix would require that. How steep is the tin roof btw?
Dave
I would second the 'extension' method @doneen.
Not easy, but unbend the peaks and insert 6" strips of your profiled corrugated iron under the present iron such that the lowest screws anchor both sheets.
Hi @EricL
I would follow along the steps of @EricL but would run with a 90deg bend flashing 100mm under the roofline and 50mm down. You should aim to maintain the widest possible exposure of the gutters. Hence a 90deg bend instead of 45deg and not extension of sheeting as it will serve the same purpose but be easier to manage cleaning of the guttering on-going. Silicone the edge where the flashing meets the end of the roof sheets. This should eliminate any need to re-straighten the turn-downs. Tucking the flashing under the existing roof may require you to loosen the last row of roofing screws.

Hi,
You are right there is a slight lean on the gutter but it is still pretty flush to facia. Not enough in it to correct the water going behind the gutter..
Many thanks for the great suggestion!
Thanks for this - I was wondering if there was a way to extend the metal roof itself…
Hi @doneen
