How to plug a drainpipe hole in particle board?

During a recent renovation the plumber had to penetrate a particle board cupboard at the corner, as per the photo.

Clearly there was no corner flange to cover the entry hole, unlike the exit hole which does have one.

Does anyone have a solution to filling that hole?

Hi @rocker,

You could potentially use expanding foam to fill these gaps. I'd suggest using Parfix 750g Expanding Foam Filler and then trimming the excess, so it's flush with the cabinet wall. Alternatively, you could cut down a Kinetic 50mm Waste Tray Floor Flange to fill around the majority of the pipe and then add a small section of time to neaten up the right-hand side. I've created the below rendering to illustrate.

I think @MitchellMc has come up with a really impressive solution.

Mine is less so.

I was thinking thin white plastic (Newsagent or Office Works) cut appropriately, with some origami and glued into position.

At least I tried.

@MitchellMc That drawing is truly impressive! Cutting the 50 mm floor flange would help with installing as pipes are already glued.

The only tricky bit would be to get the angle of the hole right on the right hand wall.

In which aisle will I find the "small section of time"? 😉

Yep, actually the hole was drilled by the builder who did the bathroom reno on the other side of the kitchen wall. He is a real tradesman (but again, did not take my request to plug holes seriously enough).
