Hi,
I want to add a few extra shelves inside my linen press, kitchen cupboards and my walk in wardrobe. I have a number of scraps of Custom Pine 16mm White Matt Carcass Particle Board MR as well as some pieces of Particleboard from Ikea furniture sitting around. What tools would I need to cut the particle board to size?
I'd been thinking about getting a jigsaw for the project but I'm not sure if this is the best tool for the job.
I'm not concerned if the shelves don't look perfect, given they'll be inside cupboards but do need the cuts to be fairly accurate so they fit snugly into the cupboards. I've not had a heap of experience with power tools and other than cutting shelves to size I can't imagine I will need a saw for much else as I live in an apartment.
Thanks.
