This is not actually a question but a response to many questions related to securing something to wall and ceilings.
I am coming from this discussion Mounting a bracket to an asbestos sheet eave
Where I suggested the above but could not (for some time now) remember the name and where I got them from and... I only have four left! Decided to start searching again and not give up because they have a proprietary name and difficult to identify.
Macsim ANKA Plugs and I used to get them from Caribbean Gardens in Scoresby which closed during COVID.
They came in unmarked plastic packets and that's why I had no info about.
I searched Bunnies with keyword 'Macism' and found this:
Maybe they have the plugs?
Now when I search Google with the correct name 'anka wall plug' there are good results'
Anyway... over the years they have been by fav and suggesting they are very handy to have in your DIY kit.
Cheers
As Macsim is one of our suppliers, @AlanM52, we can place a Special Order for them in the store if anyone is interested.
Mitchell
Mitchell... that is good news and I suggest Bunnings should make them available as a off-the-shelf purchase.
Cheers
Looks like an interesting product @AlanM52. Thanks for the post.

A quick Google - but they also seem to be produced under "Ampere" - available at Rexel.

Question - if the screw selected proves to be too large, is it possible the four plastic prongs will start to spin round inside the wall, lose grip and become useless?
Cheers.
As usual very observant... and yes they appear as Ampere and one other name I came across and already can't recall.
Turns out they are available on many Ozzie websites including Middy's and Kogan... and Dick Smith lol.
Running low with only four left (lol) I have already ordered a 100pack from MJS Electrical Products & Supplies and just received AuPost update parcel is being prepared.
Good screw question from inquisitive mind and the plug colour identifies the correct screw screw size.
