How to fix Ozito lawn mower wheel off the axel?

Question

I noticed that the rear wheel of my Ozito lawnmower came off its axel this afternoon. The wheel does not have any threading to secure it on the axel.

I have an ozito battery mower as well and yeah I have found some issues with the build.

Have a look at the opposing wheel, you may find that the slip pin has fallen off your wheel (The thing that holds the wheel in place, theer will be a hole through the wheel shaft about the size of a small thin nail) I ran into a problem where I couldnt raise the mower and it turned out the pin had fallen out while mowing… I used a spare nail through the metal shaft and bent it at right angles top and bottom so it wouldn't fall out again (you can buy these pins from bunnings and they will be easier to bend)

The mower does a reasonable job, is quite and keeps on going so apart from that I have had no issues. If under warranty I would do what @EricL  has suggested and take it back in.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your lawn mower.

If your lawnmower is still under warranty, I propose bringing it to the store where you originally purchased it from along with your docket for an exchange. If you only wish to repair it, I suggest speaking to the special orders team and asking them if the "locking shaft clip for the wheel" can be ordered/purchased as a spare part. If the unit is out of warranty, I suggest looking at the

and see which one is applicable. My best advice is to look carefully at the axle and see if it has any channels on it that will accommodate the locking clips.
