Our concrete is split into large squares (approx 2m x 2m). One of them has started to rise, creating an uneven surface and potential trip hazard. I want to smooth it down but ideally not replace concrete. Thanks for the help/advice
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @bunningsmas. It's wonderful to have you join us and many thanks for your question on concrete slabs.
You'd typically be looking at having a professional concrete resurfacing company come in and grind down the raised section to bring it closer to the level of the surrounding slabs.
One thing to be aware of is that, depending on the thickness of the slab and how far it has lifted, grinding the high section could remove a significant amount of concrete. Removing too much could compromise the strength of the slab and potentially affect its ability to safely carry vehicle loads.
For this reason, I'd recommend having a concrete professional assess the slab in person. They can determine what's caused the movement, how much material could safely be removed and whether grinding or another method would be the most appropriate way to address the height difference. Although the raised section is only relatively minimal, in order to establish a flat plane would take significant material removal and might put this outside the realm of DIY.

As per @MitchellMc thoughts - professional grinding. How many millimetres has that edge lifted on the corner?
This area was ground down 25 mm in around 20 minutes. Over time the polished area aged to match the un-ground area.
Tree based problem.
It even moved the slab 30mm horizontally.
Killed the tree.
