Hi,
Please recommend the easiest way to fix this shower handle. Is it worth glueing back on or do we need to replace the handle?
Cheers

Hello @DIYcc
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower door handle.
I suggest getting a professional to come in and replace your shower door handle. I'm afraid gluing the handle back will not be an effective solution as it has been severely stressed. If you know who the manufacturer of your shower is, I suggest giving them a call and see if you can source a spare part handle from them. I've done an extensive search on the Bunnings website and could not find anything similar.
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1, @Nailbag, @TedBear and @JoeAzza for their recommendations.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Just outta curiosity @DIYcc - can you determine if we are looking at plastic or aluminium alloy? Can you see any method (visible screws, etc) of removing the handle?
If no to both - as per @EricL.
Hi @DIYcc
I would try fixing it first with an epoxy glue that’s suitable for both metals and plastics allowing 24hrs to cure.
Should that fail you will need to replace them. First check under each handle for a grub screw which will either be an Allan key or blade screwdriver. You will need to then gently pry the handles off. The size of the hole in the glass will determine the fitting for the new handles. Take the handles to a local shower glass supplier for options.
If there are no grub screws, then they could be stuck on with double sided tape. So you will need to carefully use a long flexible blade to slowly work through the tapes.
Replacement self adhesive handles will be available via online sources or again a shower glass retailer.

Thanks for the prompt reply everyone.
@Noyadeit's plastic and I can't see any visible screws.
@Nailbag thanks, I'll try the epoxy glue, any particular brands you recommend or they're much the same?
Good Evening @DIYcc
Id probably be tempted to replace it :/ Glue could work (for plastics) but I would be worried it will snap again and you may end up scratching yourself badly.
Just had a google search for "Chrome plastic shower door handles and got this as the first choice Shower handles - adhesive back to back suits Stegbar and others
As for removing the old handles… Mmmm maybe one of the crew might know of a glue dissolver ?

Hi @DIYcc, the best, safe way to remove glue on glass (or other scratchable surfaces) is to use dental floss. A sawing action. You can use gloves to save cutting into your fingers.
Any known of the known brands stating extra strength and suitable for plastics.
Hi @DIYcc, You could look at products like https://www.bunnings.com.au/de-solv-it-125ml-sticky-spot-and-stain-remover_p4460063 if you need to remove the handles and their glue. Alternatively, for glues, you have https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-8ml-araldite-super-strong-epoxy-adhesive_p0893435 , or you could try https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-all-plastics-super-glue_p0212331 .
