The project

New corner pergola with composite screening and swing.

Steps

Step 1

Removed old plants, dug up the grass, laid down weed mat and cut an octagon border.

Step 2

Cemented in the saddles, screwed in the posts and started screwing in the main triangle frame.

Step 3

Painted the main frame with Monument paint. Started cutting rafters and notching out pattern on the ends.

Step 4

Added extra post supports for strength. Added composite screening. Painted the whole structure, planted hedge plants and smoothed out the rocks.

Step 5

Added 3-person swing, painted the swing, and added to climber plants on the sides.
