This simple but effective laundry renovation provided plenty of storage and added functionality.
The project
I wanted to update my old laundry. My first idea was to paint the brown rafters white, lay vinyl floorboards over the existing tiles and add as much storage as possible.
I asked the Bunnings Workshop community for advice and got some great ideas. I really liked the idea of a sliding barn door. EricL sketched some plans showing how I could do things using Bedford or Kaboodle cabinets.
The plans were good for inspiration but I made a lot of compromises along the way. I completed the renovation by myself and didn't spend a lot of money.
The biggest change to my original idea was not laying a new flooring.
I could always do more but I'm very happy with the results. The extra storage means everything now has a place and is easy to find.
