Breeze blocks make a return

Breeze blocks from the 50s and 60s are apparently making a comeback.

Would you use them in a new building or reno?

That first image looks like its using them indoors and looks great - segmenting the rooms but still letting light in. Outdoors I imagine they would get really grubby and cleaning them would be a pain.

Nah. They remind me of public toilet blocks.

Re: Breeze blocks make a return

Back in the day, they were called Besser Blocks, & directly across the road from us, we had the priviledge of our ethnic neighbours removing a beautifully manicured hedge fence, & replacing it with one of those concrete blots on design history. To make it worse, one of the paired blocks was laid upside down. :unhappy:
