1. Timber kitchen budget makeover using paint by @Belindaplumley
An old farmhouse kitchen was made modern and fresh using new benchtops, tiles and painted cabinetry. The use of white chalk paint helped create a contemporary look.
2. Budget kitchen refurbishment using paint by @Shirld
A fresh modern kitchen on a budget. A marble-like effect was used on the counter tops, while the Dulux Renovation Range helped transform the cabinetry. New handles and flooring completed the makeover.
3. Country and industrial-style budget kitchen renovation by @Dons-Glenno
Winner of best kitchen makeover in our 2024 search for Australia's best D.I.Y. projects, this budget reno utilised second-hand cabinetry painted in Dulux Black Caviar. Contrasting Oak laminate benchtops and a custom-made butcher's block completed the look.
4. 80s kitchen budget renovation by @ProjectPete
A budget kitchen makeover completed for less than $1000, with all materials purchased from Bunnings. The project included new benchtops, sink, tapware and tiled splashback, while cupboards and walls were painted.
5. Budget Bunnings kitchen transformation by @daniknight4
Painting the tiles and cabinetry, plus adding a new sink and Merbau timber benches, helped transform an outdated kitchen into a bright new space. The budget was under $1500.
6. Budget kitchen reno using Kaboodle cabinets by @Danielle383
A comprehensive makeover for a Queenslander using Kaboodle cabinetry. Sink, tapware, rangehood, oven, cooktop, flooring and light were all from Bunnings. An old-style stove alcove was used to create a spacious pantry.
7. Kitchen renovation on a budget by @Stuardo
The doors of this kitchen’s old cupboards were swollen chipboard and the laminate was peeling off. This renovation delivered a striking new look and greater functionality while retaining existing appliances to keep costs down.
8. Budget kitchen reno with Acacia benchtops by @islandgirl
A holiday house kitchen was transformed in less than a week by replacing cabinets, whitewashing cupboard doors and replacing shelves and benches. New tiling and colour scheme complemented the makeover.
9. Bright coastal kitchen makeover on a budget by @Aleishacorr
A fresh, modern look for a dated kitchen. All cupboards were painted using White Knight tile and laminate paint, benches were replaced, and VJ panelling installed. A new white sink and brass mixer added style.
10. Budget kitchen upgrade with painted cabinets by @newbie23
A fresh new look at a low cost by repainting existing cabinetry. The Dulux Renovation Range in the colour Niche was used, while a new tiled splashback and laminate benchtop were added.
