2. D.I.Y. Google assistant by @AndrewJones  

 

We love the juxtaposition of building your own Google assistant using a Raspberry Pi micro computer and housing it in a wooden case crafted by hand.

Jess built a creative ute-shaped bookshelf with storage behind the door and headlights that can be used as a night light.

 

5. Bench seat made with handtools by @AndrewJones  

 

Woodworking expert Andrew's bench seat features mortise and tenon joins. It was made using Pine and finished with three coats of Danish oil. 

 

6. Bench seat using Pine sleepers by @cadsman

Mitchell made this familiar-looking home for solitary bees using Meranti timber and bamboo.

 

10. Engraved bath caddy by @Wayne  

 

Sculpted from an old dining tabletop, this engraved bath caddy features a slot for an iPad, recessed pockets for tealight candles and a wine bottle, and a cut-out for a wine glass.
