I am about to install Bamboo as a feature wall, I would like some advice on what product to coat it with to protect from UV rays
preventing it from discoloring any other tip would be appreaciated
Thank you for sharing your question about how to protect bamboo from UV rays.
I recommend using Bondall 1L Satin Monocel Gold Marine Clear Timber Varnish It's an easy to use, brush-on coating that provides maximum durability, colour retention, and longevity for exposed timber surfaces. It has superior adhesion and is highly resistant to solvents, chemicals, abrasions, and yellowing. I suggest putting a coat on the back of the bamboo as well. This will protect the bamboo from moisture damage both from the front and back.
