How to protect carpet from a fridge?

I need to place my fridge in the adjoining room to the kitchen as the space in the kitchen is too small. I will need to put the fridge on carpet. Just wondering what I could put under the fridge to protect the carpet? Thanks. Paul

Hi @pauliew 

I recommend using castor cups on your fridge rollers and feet. The cups will spread the weight of the appliance on the carpet and prevent it from being heavily dented. There still will be a slight depression on the carpet surface, but this can be fixed with a steam cleaner should you decide to move the fridge in another location.

Please make sure to measure the size of the rollers and feet of the fridge before going to the store. 

To protect yourself from a possible back injury, please make sure to have an extra pair of hands when lifting the fridge.
