Needs to be at least 30 mm long.

All the tall bulky units are now on the other side away from the line of sight.
You can never have enough bench space. Drawer cabinets for all occasions!

My favorite part is the butlers sink undermount sytle!

Even if the wall was just over at 2.4 meters wide, those cabinets would still fit on that wall.

Tadah! Dishwasher! I personally like the tiles.
Remove the tall units and move to oposite wall.
Yes that island is appoximately 2.2 meters long and will fit the room! It will work with or without the dividing wall to your living room.
18mm finishing panel, 600mm base cabinet, 900mm base cabinet, 600mm 3 drawer base cabinet, 18mm finishing panel.
600mm pantry, 600mm oven tower, 800mm fridge space, yes you can have a 900 space if needed.

Layout is based on 4900x4700 total room dimensions as indicated on your plan. All apliances are measured to actual live products. These are common sizes but not absolute, please refer to manufacturers specs upon purchase.
I prefer layout C myself. But it is your choice.
Pick one and send me a message and I will colour and tile it on for you when time permits.

This is a temporary shelter from hail.
This is an example of how it might turn out.

Distances are approximate but this dinner table will fit the space.

I vote for under the shelf as this has worked for me in the past. Always have a center support to prevent bowing.
A supporting long piece, drilled both into the legs and shelf to prevent swayng and shearing.
Just in case you want to see what it looks like underneath.
The island size is based on the benchtop size which is 1876 x 900 x 40 this includes overhangs.
