Danger Will Robinson! I built a variation of this, works fantastic!
Front view
Cook top side
DW side
There's that reveresed cabinet
Front with fridge moved to left side from original spot
Removed existing pantry and placed new pantry set and cabinet set as new breakfast area
No more single cabinet, yes the golden brass gold fish can stay or was it koi
This shows you where the fridge would go. Not the best layout but gives you maximum storage
This is configuration 2. I swapped your fridge and your cooking range positions. added a pullout pantry next to the fridge and an appliance nook to park the kettle and toaster.
Cooking range side maximizes cooking and prep space for those big meals. No more pushing for bench top work space.
Even more bench top space and you get wall cabinets. This is the new breakfast area.
i had to split the shelf as my son had a subwoofer that needed its own space.
There it is in all its glorified mess.
Check out that tawny green splash back!

Make the cubby house last longer and buy some mistints from Bunnings.
Get some solar lights that will impress the grandkids!
If you put a TV in there you might start to enjoy it as well!
Possible island size.
Wall addition and new pantry.
The suggested gap between your benchtop and the island is 1.2 meters both at the side and back.
The view if your standing by your sink.
I would recommend stools with no back rest instead of chairs so that they hide under the table and not be in the way as you work in the kitchen.
View comming in from the deck.
I suggest low level benches around where the plants are.
Make sure that the ground is sloped and has proper drainage so water will not pool under the deck.
Your choice of decking furniture, but lets tidy up the toys and chemicals with a keter box.
Chemicals, pool noodles, balls etc...out of sight out of mind.
Massive storage for towels and stuff, you can never have enough shelves.
I suggest LED strip lighting under the bottom shelf and top shelf as alternative to harsh mirror lighting.
Washing machine outside, laundry tub on benchtop, steel square laundry tub sold on gumtree.
Corner cavity covered up with plaster, cooktop moved over. New breakfast area ready!
New meal area! All the benchtop area you could ask for!

Maybe some ceramic dolphins from daiso?
Timber bench tops give a kitchen a warm natural feel.
Best to keep the shelves removable for easy access to plumbing and taps at the back.

This approximately shows you what it might look like once the wall is up and the cavity sliding door is in place.
Nice big space now for you to sit and not get hit by the door.
Here is the view from outside going in with the sliding door visible.
This is the view of what that entrance might look from the kitchen.
Clip on the garden hose and enjoy!
It's a magic floating chiminea!
Maybe some wooden rattan chairs?
