Profile (JustJim)

  • CM150.jpg
  • Plier and cutter rack
  • Blank tool wall
  • In place except for the pencil tin.
  • Loaded up. Earlier tests showed 2 magnets were fine for the 1m steel rule. That may not be the case.
  • Oiled up like a gladiator. Do you like movies about gladiators, Joey?
  • The big view.
  • A nice base/shelf, with some castors.
  • An upside-down top being clamped up.
  • The finished beast
  • Doubles as an outfeed table
  • Hang ten!
  • Wide view
  • Closer view
  • Wood rack
  • If you look closely you can actually see the growth spurts from ordinary plywood to scraps of film-faced plywood.
  • Don't they look great together? You can hardly even see the leg grafts.
  • I routed out extensions of the saw's mitre slots so that the crosscut sled, or any others, could move forward with the outfeed table in place.
  • Positioning guide. Has been glued and brad nailed here. Has since been screwed. I haven't.
  • Towel roll holder close up.
  • Towel roll holder showing location on the tool wall.
  • The foolishly named 'kerfmaker'.
  • The very useful, multi-purpose plank of wood with holes in it.
  • My silver Giaco Whatever designed Maker Knife arrived today. Does anyone else have one? The black ones were shipped a few weeks ago but the silver ones had to have their anodisation re-done.
  • The tape and string rack. Oiled up and hanging by a French cleat.
  • Push shoe. Two bits of wood glued together with two bits of masonite glued to them!
  • Crosscut sled from below showing runners and the open safety box.
  • Crosscut sled from the rear or operator's end. Note the bright "No Hands Here" safety box.
  • Crosscut sled from the front (the end away from the operator).
  • Face jointing jig rear view showing modifications I had to make to fit the lock of my rip fence.
