Re: Fragrant Deck

This Lemon Verbena is circled by a few small Lemon Balm plants growing from seed. I put as many fragrant plants on the deck as poss: various mints and lemon scented plants - a great place to relax. Also planning to surround it on 2 sides with pyrethrum and tansy for their mosquito and fly repelling properties. Would welcome other suggestions.

Re: Fragrant Deck

Lemon grass is pretty good too - although to smell it you need to crush a leaf/stalk. Smells exactly like lemonade icypoles!

It's not exactly the most beautiful of plants, but can add a bit of texture in amongst all the other things you've got. Just don't let the mint get out of the pot into a garden bed - you'll never get rid of it.
