Ozito 36V mower batteries

I have a new 36V mower only about a week old, used once both batteries charged fine the first time but after the mower constantly cutting out, I tried to charge them again one had the green light but the other has both the red and green light ? Both today and yesterday so it’s not hot.
I’ve already had to go back to the store because the safety key was missing now the battery is assuming faulty ?
Will the store just change over the battery ?

Re: Ozito 36V mower batteries

Hi @jessaq29,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Ozito batteries.

I'm assuming that you purchased a 36V mower kit that included the mower, a charger and two batteries, possibly this Ozito PXC 36V (2 x 18V) 380mm Brushless Lawn Mower 4.0Ah Kit or something similar. Would that be correct?

The flashing red and green light is an indication that there is a fault in the battery, and as it can't be attributed to a short-term issue like overheating, it's fairly likely there is an issue with the battery that won't resolve itself.

In saying this, we can't rule out that there could also be an issue with the mower or charger, so it would be best to return to the store of purchase with your receipt and all of the components that were included as part of the kit so the Power Garden expert can assess them and either replace individual parts necessary or the entire kit if necessary.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
