Hello, the last couple of days my Roma cherry tomato plant is not happy. Growing in pots, full sun for 6h a day, tomato plant soil, regular watering.
Any tips? Thank you ☺️

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Caterina. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about tomato care.
Looking at your tomato plant, it seems to be showing signs of stress from a few possible factors. The yellowing leaves with brown edges and pale blotches suggest a combination of nutrient deficiency, environmental stress, and possibly disease or pests. In pots, tomatoes are more prone to drying out and overheating, even if you water regularly, and strong afternoon sun can cause sunscald on leaves. Nutrient deficiencies, particularly nitrogen, magnesium, or potassium, often show first in older leaves and can cause yellowing and browning.
The blotchy or curling leaves could also indicate early fungal or bacterial disease, such as Septoria leaf spot or early blight, or even pest activity like spider mites. To help your plant recover, ensure the soil stays consistently moist but not waterlogged, remove the most damaged leaves to reduce stress and disease spread, and feed the plant with a balanced tomato fertiliser that provides nitrogen and potassium. Providing some temporary shade during the hottest part of the day and ensuring good airflow around the plant will also support recovery, and checking the undersides of leaves for pests will help catch any infestations early. With these steps, your potted Roma cherry tomato should have a good chance of bouncing back.
