How to install a Devanti benchtop dishwasher?

I’m thinking of installing a Devanti 6 place bench top dishwasher as a built in.

How long is the outlet cord? I need it to go 2.5m and up 500cm to the water pipe. Is this possible?

Hello @carlapeacock

According to the specifications the power cord is only 1.4m long, the inlet hose is 1.55m long and the drain hose is 1.5m long. You'll need to purchase an extension piece for the outlet cord. When you mention outlet cord are you referring to the drain hose? If you are, it will be necessary to purchase a Kinetic 2m Grey PVC Washing Machine And Dishwasher Outlet Drain Hose to extend the outlet hose

If you wish to see more details about its specification, I recommend scrolling down the page of the Devanti Benchtop Dishwasher 6 Place Setting Black. The details are further down right after the pictures.

Thanks Eric,

Is the pump powerful enough to pump that distance and lift the 50cm?

Hello @carlapeacock

I don't think it is powerful enough to pump up the 500mm distance you are referring to. Here is a link to the Devanti Operators Manual, if you look at page 15 it clearly shows that the drain hose must be lower than the machine itself otherwise water will backflow into the machine. The water inlet should not be an issue, but the exit hose must be installed correctly. My best advice is to bring the benchtop dishwasher closer to the drain pipe.
