I have mortar staining on my bluestone pavers which I didn't think was an issue at the time I laid them, but apparently you can't use hydrochloric acid on bluestone... I've tried soapy water and a nylon brush but the staining won't go away. Any ideas how to remove this without damaging the bluestone? Thanks
Hello @mitchlc
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about removing mortar stains.
I suggest giving Chemtech 1L Brick Tile And Paver Cleaner a try and see if it will lift off the mortar stain on your pavers. Please remember that this is a concentrate and must be diluted before use. I recommend testing a small section first just to make sure that its compatible with your paver. I don't recommend using hydrochloric acid as it will damage your pavers surface.

Thanks Eric, it looks like this paver cleaner contains hydrochloric acid. Do you know of any paver cleaners that aren't acidic? otherwise I'll try testing this on a spare paver and see how I go
Hello @mitchlc
As a secondary option, I suggest looking at Builders Edge 750ml Cement 'N' Concrete Remover. Again, please test a small corner for compatibility before committing the entire area.

Cheers Eric, I'll give those a go
