Hi,
We just got our new home 4mos back and recently got solar installed. I am new to Home DIY, so not that familiar with tools and know-how yet.
After the install, I noticed that the water is dripping out of the gutter, so I had a quick look and something does not look right. Can you please advise the best way to fix this?
I also dont know how those rubbish got up there when it is a new home. 🧐
Hello @LouieR
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your gutter dripping.
It appears that the corner gutter clip has come off and it will need to be reattached. In order to repair it, you'll need to use a Craftright 300mm 2 Piece Quick Action Clamp or similar to bring the gutter and the corner clip together. I then suggest using the Craftright Rivet Gun Set and use the largest blind rivet in the pack to hold the two pieces together. If the largest rivet is still too small, it will be necessary for you to get a larger blind rivet.
Here is a handy guide on how to use a rivet gun: How to use a Hand Riveter
I also recommend cleaning your gutter and removing all the rocks and debris that are currently in it. This is to prevent damaging your gutter and clogging up the down pipes.
