How to fix gas water heater noisy valve?

Dear folks

I have got Gas storage water heater (dux prodigy) with noisy one way valve ,,,,,,,my case i have :

one way valve (the one with arrow) plus T head Stop Cock M/M.

I called two plumbers they quoted $400-$450 to replace it I feel (i could be wrong) over priced ?

My question would Duo valve a one way valve and isolation valve from AVG

suffice the noisy one way valve (the one with arrow) and T head Stop Cock M/M ??

Thanks for sharing your question about your one-way valve.

Just a friendly reminder that any plumbing work must be carried out by a licensed plumber for safety and compliance.

I propose engaging the services of a licensed plumber as they will be able to determine if the one-way valve is actually malfunctioning. If it is malfunctioning, your plumber will be able to safely shut down your gas water heater and remove the faulty valve. Once that has been repaired, they will turn your gas heater back on. The repair was done to code and is covered under the plumber's warranty.
