Hi Bunnings team, I have a simple (8"x2") horizontal frame that is bolted to the exterior of our 7yo premises but as you can see, one corner has separated from the (original) nails and is hanging loose. This frame is a decoration and is not load bearing. I'm just wondering how to go about repairing this. I've found the Pryda range of products on the Bunnings website and I'm reasonably confident that I will need Timber Connector Screws. Any suggestions? Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @Ahridan,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
I'd suggest you grab a heavy-duty angle bracket like this Dunnings 60 x 60 x 140 x 3mm Black Heavy Duty Angle Bracket Plate and attach it to the inside corner of the join with some Zenith M10 x 40mm Hot Dipped Galvanised Hex Head Coach Screw.
This would close up the gap and greatly reinforce the corner when compared with before.
Using a Trojan 75mm Mitre Clamp to clamp the corner closed while you predrill holes for your coach screws and then install the bracket would ensure you get a nice, tight mitre.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
