Re: How to prevent grass growing between footpath gaps?

Hello @PJ88

If the grass has grown past the foam insert odds are parts of the foam insert might have deteriorated already. I Propose digging the grass and soil out of the gap along with some of the foam to create a channel that is around 15mm deep. Clean the gap as much as possible and remove any loose debris. I suggest inserting Moroday 15mm x 5m White Gap Filler Rod, it is available in a smaller diameter if you need it to be smaller. Push the filler rod in the gap and leaving at least a 10mm space above it. I then suggest using Sika 310ml Grey Concrete Sikaflex Pro+ Polyurethane Sealant to fill the gap.

The filler rod in combination with the Sika sealant should stop the grass from growing in between the foot path.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
