How to tidy pathway area?

Hi all. Looking for some nice ideas to tidy this area up…remove stones… but then what? Looks very unkept. Appreciate any great ideas thanks

Re: How to tidy pathway area?

Hi @KarWren,

After removing the stones, you could replace them with some coloured mulch such as this Ki-Carma Red Cypress Mulch.

This would give the area a bit of colour while suppressing weeds. It will also, over time, break down, releasing its nutrients into the soil.

It has a slow decomposition rate, so you wouldn't need to top it up very often, but a top-up every couple of years, as the lower levels decompose, would be worthwhile to keep the area looking fuller.

Allow me to tag @Noelle, @Dave-1 and @prettyliving to see if they have any other ideas.

Let me know what you think.

Good Afternoon @KarWren

I think the area looks good, just a little tired.

I would rake all the white stones up, remove all the loose soil that may have accumulated and remove any weeds.

As the ground dosnt look like it has a lot of weed grouth you could skip weed mat (Im not a fan of it really)

Then lay Strol 0.5m² PebbleLock Permeable Pavers down and backfill with your washed white pebbles plus some extra if needed.

The new pebblelock will help with the shifting of pebbles as it rains/get walked on.
