Is there a Bunnings product similiar to Flow point rapid setting grout?

Hi all,

I obtained some cobblestones that were leftover from a neighbour that was redoing thir driveway. So far fo good, i have laid the stones from a youtube series of brittish landscaper about how to lay and now I need to grout.. I have seen a few videos use the 'Ultra scape Flow point rapid set grout' but it only seems to be avaliable in a few specialist stores in Victoria (I am in Syd).

I am keen on a grout that I can just squeegee over the top of the cobbles  as I am no expert and i can imagine manual grouting would be a challenfe so am wondering are there any products avaliable at bunnings (or another store in Sydney) that is like for like for the flowpoint product?

Hi @cwmerchant,

I'm following up for my colleague @EricL. Have you glued these cobblestones down to a solid substrate like a concrete slab or bedded them on a sand base? If the cobblestones have been glued down to a concrete slab, then you can use a product like Lanko 20kg 701 Duragrout Structural Grouting and adjust the water component of the mix so it's of a pourable consistency. Alternatively, if you speak with a Special Order team in-store, they'll check to see if they can order Davco Streetscape Fluid Grout. This specialised product is designed for grouting between cobblestones on a rigid substrate.

Since grouts are typically rigid, they can't be used on a non-rigid substrate like sand or roadbase as the movement will cause them to crack. That is why you'll generally see sand used for paving joints instead of grout. I am unaware of any grouts that would be suitable over a non-rigid substrate.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
