Need some links to treated battens for laying on the ground as frame to keep some tiles from shifting and form an edging
Is H3 the type of wood that I should be looking for ?
Hi @vng,
You'd likely be better off with an aluminium angle or something similar. Typically, you wouldn't find a H4-treated (suitably treated for on-ground contact) in a baton size. Baton treatments typically only go up to H3 for above-ground use. There is an option to use hardwood, but it will not last long in contact with the ground.
If you were after a baton in H4 treatment, you'd probably have to cut down a plinth to the correct size and then re-treat the cut edge.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Trying avoid a metal piece so as to not have anyone trip over it. Is there something else to create a border and prevent the tiles from shifting?
The tiles aren't very thick and similar to pavers.
Hello @vng
I propose looking at the Jack 1180 x 45mm Outdoor Oxy Shield Flexible Garden Edging or the Icon Plastics 75mm x 10m Jarrah Garden Edge. This is on the condition that you have semi thick pavers or at least thick enough that it hides the side channel of the garden edging. In regards to the plastic garden edging it will be necessary to dig a channel and add support stakes to keep the garden edging from giving way to the weight of the pavers.
If you are really keen on timber, I propose looking at the 100 x 16mm 4.8m Edging H4 Treated Pine Wet. Please keep in mind that a channel will need to be dug for the edging, and support timber will need to be added to keep it from leaning over due to the weight of the pavers.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
