Hi,
Because of the wind, our fence has been leaning out too much. Not quite sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?
Hi @Vidya,
Some questions:
Are you the owner or renting.
Did you discuss the situation with a person over the other side.
Can you post some photos of the area including shots along the fence line in both directions.
Cheers
.
Hello @Vidya
Thank you for sharing your question about your leaning fence. @AlanM52 has posted some very important questions regarding your fence. If you can please add some extra information and a picture of your fence, we'll be able to offer you recommendations on what steps to take.
Generally speaking, when your fence starts to lean, it is either your fence posts have rotted out, or they have come loose at the base. This means that the fence post was not properly dug in and they were put in a very shallow post hole. The typical fix is to replace the posts and re-build the fence. But if only one or two posts have given way these may be replaced without having to disassemble the entire fence. This is why it is important for us to see the current condition of the fence so that we can provide you with relevant recommendations.
